Purpose

Industry Consulting will enhance licensee’s ability to understand and respond to the Alcoholic Beverage Control and Local entities that are dealt with on a day-to-day basis. Industry will offer advice and input with professional knowledge, legal support if needed, and skills to overcome obstacles with a response to achieve the goals of the client.

Industry will also bring change for the licensee community looking for leadership and to correct needed regulatory and statutory inadequacies in Virginia for the 21^st century. To fix these problems will take vision and a voice of reason with the backing of a strong lobbyist to overcome backward thinking and move the community forward one step at a time.

Fees

An annual fee for the assistance of Industry Consulting will be broken down into three separate levels for corporate licensees. These fees will guarantee 24-hour service on a need basis with contact by a representative.

• Level I - $1500.00 for current licensees listed under resources.

• Level II - $2000.00 to obtain first time license and also will encompass the resources of level I.

• Level III - $2500.00 that will encompass all of level I and II with the addition of legal help from an Industry attorney.

Resources

First time licensees:

Assistance with the application package and insights on obtaining an ABC license within thirty days or less. Contested licenses will have an Industry attorney without an additional charge for all local hearings in Regional offices. Appeals to the ABC Board in Richmond can also be handled for an increased fee.

Once your license is obtained we will offer training on ABC regulations and laws for your management and employees.

Current licensees:

Yearly underage Industry sting with critical feedback on how to comply with ABC’s program.

Analysis of your Mixed Beverage Annual Review for compliance with laws and regulations.

A Yearly Industry inspection to coincide with ABC inspection.

Analysis of your restaurant operation for embezzlement, theft, and loss attributed to employees.

Representation and consultation for State & Local investigations including an Industry attorney for litigation in settlements at local hearings in Regional offices. All appeals to the ABC Board in Richmond and Criminal cases in General District & Circuit Courts will cost extra at Industry’s discretion. Licensee will be responsible for all civil & criminal penalties.
